Star Hill is one of Austin’s most unique venues for weddings and special events. Centered along an historic main street and surrounded by panoramic Hill Country views, Star Hill is located just 25 minutes west of downtown Austin in the community of Bee Cave.
Our facilities have accommodated events ranging in size from 10 to 1800 guests. We offer an array of indoor and outdoor spaces to suit a variety of needs. Our largest individual space can seat 300+ indoors. All indoor spaces have ample air conditioning and adjustable lighting. All outdoor areas are beautifully landscaped with native plants and stonework.
Our event facilities include an historic chapel, reception hall, bride’s house, groom’s quarters, catering kitchen, and outdoor arbor. We also offer a larger chapel/reception hall as an option.

The Smaller Chapel is a beautifully restored country church
originally built in Pontotoc, Texas around
1899. A functional bell tower, period lighting,
and original pine floors create a romantic
ambiance for any indoor ceremony.

The Reception Hall
is a converted “Rosenwald” school
construction near Willow Springs, Texas
in the early 1920’s. Large open indoor
spaces as well as a 1300 square foot, all
weather, covered verandah and surrounding
lawn seating make this a very flexible setting
for dining, dancing and cocktails.

The Bride’s House
is a charming original Bee Caves area farm
house build around 1910, and given as a wedding
present in 1917. Plaster walls, a vintage
kitchen and bath, and warm antique furnishing
create a luxurious retreat for the bride and

The Fitzhugh Chapel/Hall is the largest indoor space at Star Hill. Originally constructed in 1914, it served the local area as a chapel and community center. It now accommodates ceremonies, receptions, and/or music/dancing for up to 300+ guests.

Bier Garten
The Bier Garten is located between the Fitzhugh building and an 1850s era barn, relocated from Industry, Texas. This covered outdoor space makes an excellent bar/seating area, and offers an appealing backdrop for photography.
